The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters met for the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really happening.
